Balancing Technology & Interior Design
One of the biggest challenges that our industry faces is satisfying our customer’s needs with TV displays and music systems while also maintaining the vision and goal of the interior designer/architect. Anyone can install a flat panel TV and in-wall speakers in a given space but to completely hide these items from view is what truly separates Hifi House from our competition.
Take a look at this install that was designed by Harry Blanchard. It is a rare privilege to work in a home that has this level of detail and craftsmanship and we are proud to be associated with it. The architect on this job made it very clear how much they “hated” technology but the homeowner still required video displays and sound systems throughout the home. Fortunately, no one in the industry understands this challenge better than Harry. As you can see, the family room 63” flat-panel TV and surround sound system is hidden behind custom, wood panel pocket doors. Even more impressive is the 40” flat panel install in the office that completely disappears behind the millwork with a fully automated lift.
This is truly a “custom” install and a great job done by Harry and his team.
